Not just money
No one gives alone, either.
Every donation here does something specific. A parent gets an hour to ask the question they’ve been afraid to ask out loud. A confusing system of school forms, benefit applications and waitlists turns into one a newcomer family can actually work through. A sibling, the one who usually goes unmentioned, gets a program built with them in mind, not squeezed in around someone else’s needs.
None of that happens on its own. It happens because someone decided to help before we asked, the same decision Cordelia made in 2014, one family at a time, long before there was a name for it. A donation keeps that decision going.

Is my donation to Steady Path Society tax-deductible?Not yet. We're registered as a BC nonprofit society, but our CRA charity number, which is what makes a donation tax-deductible, hasn't come through. We'll update this page the day it does.
Where does my donation actually go?It keeps sessions free, keeps someone answering messages after hours, and covers the unglamorous running costs: this website, insurance, phone, tools. See the three areas above.
Can I give monthly instead of a one-time gift?Yes, once online giving is live. Until then, email Cordelia directly and she'll set it up by hand.
Is there a minimum donation amount?No. Any amount helps a family who would otherwise wait.
